Hiking along the Buffalo River towards Horseshoe Bend, where the famed 250ft Hemmed-in Hollow flows and found this tic-tac-toe stump. Along the trail you will find old homesteads, Native American trail markers, etc.
Indian Creek trail is a 4.7 mile in/out hike along bluffs and rocky creeks. Follow the trail to find Copperhead Falls, Tunnel Cave falls and many unnamed waterfalls and caves. The hike requires scrambling along edges of bluffs, and wading through the icy creek. Continue farther along the trail and hike to the Eye of the Needle (a gem in itself). A challenging hike, but worth the reward!
