Small boutique hotel. On third floor of Columbia Icefields Discovery Centre. No pool or fitness centre but right at the ice field and tours leave from same location Restaurants on second floor of facility. Expensive but you are paying for location. I absolutely love Glacier View Lodge. The views of the Athabasca Gracier from the lobby and restaurant are incredible. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the welcome complimentary cocktail and charcuterie board. We have breakfast and dinner at the onsite restaurant, Altitude, the food was delicious. I highly recommend Gracier View Lodge.

The hot water was not functioning at the beginning and black out for few minutes. Staff resolve the problems quickly. Room very clean with Dyson fan and hair dryer. Excellent view in room, very convenient to go for Icefield bus station.
