Beautiful architecture. It was very quiet and we loved the record player in the room. The food was good in the restaurant. We enjoyed the roof top bar. The location was perfect to go to the farmers market in he morning.

Incredibly excellent property for the price point with elegant high ceiling large lovely rooms with luxury features not found in hotel properties many times the price with a hipster roof top bar and very good Italian restaurant on the ground floor, all part of Forbes 500 richest woman Diane Hendricks empire which has transformed Beloit WI into a destination or at least a highly desirable location to stop when driving north on I-90/39 near the IL/WI border.

What a great find! This chic hotel is a great option: very spacious room, large bathroom and shower, amazing rooftop bar and well stocked street level bar to watch the game and get a very good Italian bite to eat. If you are in Rockford drive the extra few miles, you won’t regret it. Highly recommend.

Never disappoints! Always one of my favorite hotels to stay at. Modern, clean, boutique hotel with excellent customer service and dining options on and off premises. I recently traveled when there was a serious tornado siren warning and was very impressed with the prompt and orderly response of the Hotel Goodwin staff to keep everyone safe. Thank you!!

We got into town at 1:00 so room was not ready but desk clerk said they would text when it was. There was no place to wait inside so we went nearby. Never got a text. Just went back about 3:30 and a different clerk said someone should have texted us... ok but would have been nice to know.

Nice bed and nice bathroom. The chairs are missing from our room (our friends have a room down the hall where they have chairs, so we know what we're missing in this big open space). Our coffee maker doesn't work and when asked the staff member in front thinks there is no possibility to replace it. our room phone keeps blinking and the front desk says it's an error and we should ignore it. We cannot control the temperature in the room because we get warning notes at the thermostat that the temp is centrally controlled elsewhere. The front desk person isn't sure what to do about that. Two of our lights don't work. None of these are terrible, but it's all these little annoyances that we didn't expect in a "special" hotel.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable it was very impressive and a bit expensive for anything like water or snacks. It was in an area that did not have a lot of things to do. It was very nice for a quick getaway.
