We needed a quiet room and an onsite restaurant to break up a long road trip. The elevator was out of order, but we were given a room on the lower level so that we didn't have to tote luggage upstairs. We were able to get a quick but very tasty meal at the adjoining Roxtar Bar. (We ordered two entrees recommended by the staff at check-in.) Even though this was a holiday weekend with lots of young families staying in poolside rooms, our room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The television was offline, which we noted for the staff, but for us that was not a big deal. The hot breakfast was good. The hallways were dreary and off putting, but our room was clean and spacious. Also, the pool area, which we didn't have time to use, was big, attractive, and offered a lot of seating choices.

Very much a no-frills hotel. Has all of the expected amenities. The building exterior is a bit dated and we noticed some staining on the bedding and shower curtains, but nowhere near concerning enough to report. The breakfast was hit and miss. The biscuits were great, but only served on the weekend. The pool and jacuzzi were cool and the staff was super friendly. A good budget option overall.
