A nice little oasis in the gold county of California, with very nice staff, well decorated rooms, good gambling area, great dining options, and a large outdoor pool deck. The chicken motif is played up everywhere in very clever ways. We were pleasantly surprised and had a great stay. If you are in the area or just want to explore the local scene, it could be eggs-actly what you are looking for.

Great place to stay for the weekend when you're in the area and if you're going to the casino. Nice new venue in good condition and the staff were great to deal with. I would recommend Chicken Ranch Casino and Resort if you're looking to get out of town for the weekend.

Stopped here as a checkpoint on our way to Kennedy Meadows and was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t think of this as a destination normally but we really had a great time and would come back again. The pool and food was amazing for the kids and everything was clean and convenient. Good selection of shops with all the things you would need. Great hotel.
