Vacations Close To Jamaica House

2nd time at Whispering Seas, Jamaica The first time was great internally and externally which is why we decided to book this property again for our vacation. Liked: (1) The view and property (2) The location Disliked: (1) AC in 2nd bedroom does not work and it was extremely hot in Jamaica Host was told 3 times about this, after calling her 3 times. She made emty promies to fix AC or install a new one if it couldn'd be fixed - this was not done. She did not follow up with us at all about this. (2) Safety security chain was broken...the host fixed it the next day after making 2 calls to her. Host said it was done by previous guest (3) No toilet paper, no paper towels and only 2 tiny bath soaps ... the owner sent some over after making 2 calls to her. Host apologized and said that the cleaning staff should have taken care of that (4) slashes/large cuts on the sofa - noticed upon our arrival ...the host said it was done by previous guest (5) A floor to ceiling glass windows at the back of the living room had no curtain or blinds causing concerns for privacy and safety. Also the security latch on that same window was broken so it was not closing properly. Host said she did not know why the cleaning staff removed the curtain.. (6) broken tiles in living room which was covered over by a large sisal type rug which made it uncomfortable, uneven and noisy to walk on. There were insects crawling out from under the rug and so we lifted up to rug to see broken tiles and several insects.

My husband and I stayed at the Couples Tower Isle All Inclusive property from 9/17-9/20, 2026. The check in staff was extremely friendly and at first glance I was pleased with the property. However, things quickly changed. Our room was in the NEW TOWER, but there was very little new about this part of the resort. First of all, our room was on the third floor in the new building. BUT there was no elevator, no ramp, just steps, 40 steps up and 40 steps down. I couldn’t believe that this new building did not have an elevator. After climbing up three floors of stairs we finally made it to our room and all I wanted was a cold drink of water. To my surprise, in this all-inclusive hotel, there was no bottled water in the refrigerator. There were only sodas, beer and juice. No water (the most essential nutrients for human survival). When I called the front desk to request to have some water be brought to our room, I was told that the hotel does not have bottled water. And that I would need to fill up the plastic water bottle that was in our room (approximate 12 oz) at any water station. However, the only water stations were on the first floor, 3 floors down, 40 steps from my room. The room was comfortably large, but it needed much TLC, from the small single wall mounted, 1 spray pattern shower head to the chipped ceramic tile on the floor. The food was at best mediocre. And room service struggled to get even the simplest order correct. Couples Tower was a hugh disappointment.
