This hotel is A1, staff are so nice and could not be more helpful. Great location and lovely restaurants on site. Once you have stayed here you won't stay anywhere else in Jakarta!!

The staff are very friendly but lack some knowledge to help customer. The service can be improved. The lights in the room are very dim. Maybe that’s the vibe but it’s hard to see anything. Service for the room was very slow. Location is convenient but when you need taxi or any other transportation the staff should be better equipped to help client w their need. Overall stay was good. Breakfast was good and the spa was excellent.

Amazing

Absolutely wonderful artfully appointed decor in a sea of tranquility. The whole experience was beyond expectation. The room was spacious and the bed provided the most comfortable and restful sleep. The staff were the best thing and went above and beyond to be helpful and welcoming. Modi was lovely and attended our every need and the lovely concierge was also fantastic.

From A-Z my stay has been amazing. The staff were so polite and helpful. At breakfasts they offer A la carte and buffet with many choices. The swimming pool was not under the sun which i liked. The Deluxe room was spacious and clean. I highly recommend staying here. It exceeded my expectations.

Jungle Gem in the City

Second time staying here, with great service and impeccably clean rooms. Bohemian jungle vibes but not overbearing, and it is a comfortable stay overall. Really nice rooftop bar definitely helps.

Loved our time here, staff were super efficient and friendly, food was pretty good, breakfast was good, the room was cool, very comfortable bed, big thick towels and the shower was awesome, good water pressure and hot water, no issues with water pressure like some hotels. The cafes and restaurants in the hotel were good, nice areas to chill if you have to kill some time. Rooftop cafe and pool was really good too, hot pool was very relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at The Orient for a week as part of of our trip to South East Asia. The hotel was centrally located in Jakarta making it easy to access amenities, sightseeing spots, and get a feel for the city. The two pools (on the 5th and 32nd floors) provided spectacular views of downtown. The entire hotel is very stylishly designed and great thought has gone into the detail of the rooms, the corridors and the restaurants. The library is a like a gentleman's club. The jasmine scented corridors were an olfactory delight. Every meal we had was great and the staff could not do enough for us. Some standouts were Sarah and Robin in reception and Daffa, Fahrul, and Aditya in the restaurant. The Sandjong Spa and its therapists (Fitria, Sarah, Nathania and Navitta) were professional and experienced despite their youth. All in all a great stay.
