The location is excellent. The property is located just behind Thamrin City, while Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia are also within walking distance. For Padang food, the long-established Restoran Sederhana is conveniently located just to the left of the property. Overall, it is a very convenient place to stay for shopping and dining.

It’s a nice hotel to stay, huge and clean. Love that it’s just in between Thamrin City and Grand Indonesia Mall, which is just 1 min across the road. Everything is perfect except for the breakfast buffet and room service - the food quality is sucha huge let down. I expected alot from the food considering it’s a 5-star hotel. Food quality is like 2-star hotel haha. Everything else is great, except for the food. Would we stay again? Absolutely - Bcause of the strategic location. Food wise? Just order from grab, cheaper and more options!

The hotel was placed in a strategic location between Grand Indo, Plaza Indo and Thamrin City. So it was convenient to go to these places just by walking. The hotel does need a bit of uplifting as some of the furnitures and fixtures are worn out. The Ascott team also made an effort to decorate the mirror for birthday celebrationc which was lovely. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
