Fantastic welcome and greetings. Hotel is modern and clean. Restaurant and rooftop bar were amazing. Only issues I encountered were the incorrect WiFi password was given so had to call reception, and also the air conditioning didn’t work. Though the maintenance staff did come in asap to re-gas it.

My second time at Jetwing Jaffna and the stay this time was somewhat disappointing. We were there for 8 days. On our first day, we heard loud drilling and banging in the room. There are contractors working on the building next door. We asked to be moved but were offered a room half the size of the original so we declined. Our room was noisy, not just drilling and banging (starting very early in the morning) but you could also hear the cleaning staff in the corridor early in the morning plus other guests, especially children. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night one night. We came down to the lobby in our nightwear. There was only one person at Reception who told us to go back to our room after ten minutes. No explanation or apology. On our last night, we went to the roof terrace only to find it was closed for Poya Day. No information sent to guests beforehand. Breakfast was great. We had the Jaffna dinner buffet on the Saturday night which was good. The staff were lovely and we enjoyed the rooftop terrace when it was open. Jetwing Jaffna is a great location and walking distance to most of Jaffna's sights but the hotel needs updating and soundproofing. It also needs a pool. I wouldn't stay there again.

Spent three nights at Jetwing Jaffna on a trip to the peninsula. I grew up in Sri Lanka, but, never had been to Jaffna and I wanted to visit. Jet wing is a great base around which to plan a trip to Jaffna. It is new, rooms are fantastic, staff is very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and the food is exceptional. If you go there, try to get the Jaffna Seafood buffet. Unbelievable! Very convenient to drive or take a rental car to rest of Jaffna. Also walkable to the main city attractions including the bustling market. If I go back to Jaffna, I’ll definitely stay at jetwing again.
