This castle Parador is very special. Beautiful location, amazing views, comfortable rooms, and lovely common spaces. It was a perfect respite after several days of exploring Sevilla ans Granada. Highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel, location, location, location! Stunning views, lovely hotel with very quiet and large rooms. No tea making facilities in the room but kettle, cups and spoons provided upon request. Very friendly staff. Bar area very nice and gives the ability to get food at a reasonable hour as the restaurant is not open until 8.30pm. Breakfast was good, typical Parador selection, however not quite the range of choice that we had at other Paradors. Thoroughly recommend visiting the castle and walking to the white cross. The castle is excellent value for money and very interesting and views are amazing. If driving into Jaén, we would recommend parking at the interparking on Plaza La Constitución, approaching from Plaza de las Batallas direction as we found other parking extremely hard to find and on the narrowest of roads!

Amazing view from fabulous room

Fabulous modern hotel made to look like the castle nearby. Lots of quirky features. Room superb, lovely bed linen and towels. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body cream all available in-room. Balcony lovely. Views are amazing and worth the drive with hairpin bends. Dinner and breakfast great. Service throughout was very good.
