A very cool hotel!

I've stayed here before, and I really love this place. It's a remodeled older motel, but done in a very cool way. It's close to downtown, walkable to the beach, and you can park there and just walk around town the rest of your visit.

The hotel was an older hotel. it had been updated, but still had an oldish vibe.Our room was very small. The space was maximized by having bunkbeds. With that being said, I would still highly recommend it. It was close to the beach within walking distance. It had many restaurants that were also within walking distance. The staff was very friendly.

I’m a local here in Atlantic beach, and stayed on property for a staycation. This boutique style hotel is perfect for a little get away. Right in the heart of AB, you can walk to the town center and go get your favorite bite to eat and cocktails. The staff is always so kind and friendly. Your rooms are perfect with local touches like PeterBrooke chocolate covered popcorn, and checkered beach towels for your walk down to the shore. I will always highly recommend Hotel Palms.

Great Beach town cool little hotel

This was my third time staying at the Hotel Palms and it was just as great as the prior times. Really fun place in walking distance to all the cool restaurants and beach of Atlantic Beach. Rooms and beds were comfy, friendly staff, and welcoming environment. Had a live music and “cook out” gathering while I was there. Only one thing that was an adjustment is that the room I had this time had a shared door with the room next door and because of that I could hear everything the guess next door said and did! Awkward! Lol. Will make sure to ask for a room that doesn’t have a connecting door in the future!

Great place to stay

The staff are extremely friendly. The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. I was a bit disappointed that the desk closed before 6p. I needed ice and was not able to get any. Also, the person rooming with me did not have a parking pass. We had to call to inform them about her car so it would not get towed. All in all it was a great experience. We had left some things in the room and they held them for us until we could pick them up.

Everything about the property was excellent, except for the absence of a closet and drawers in the room. There were only three knobs on the wall for hanging clothes, which proved insufficient. Typically, hotel rooms offer closets with hangers and a couple of drawers to stow your clothes, but in this case, none were provided. Additionally, there were no safety boxes in our room.
