If you are looking for something a little different then Hoyt House is your go to on Amelia Island! Oodles of character, beautiful rooms with their own bit of history and the best, most attentive and ‘keen to help’ staff. Breakfast was a delight too. I can’t rate this place highly enough…. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Stayed at Hoyt House in early April. Weather was lousy. Everything else was great. Location is within easy walking distance of restaurants and stores of Fernandino Beach. Everything in the Inn was in top shape, and a lot of thought clearly went into making the guests comfortable. Umbrellas when it rained. A glass of wine in the afternoon. Plenty of places to sit witha book or other activity.

Everything about the Hoyt House is exceptional.. it is located in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of some great restaurants and shopping. It was nise to beanle to park and walk to restaurants and shops. They provided bikes and beach chairs as well. The front porch was a nice area to relax and people watch. Tge back yard pool area was inviting as well.
