Pros-Staff is nice, breakfast is good, unique place to stay, cost good. Cons-Smells musty, dirty-didn’t look like they had cleaned the bathroom in a while, it had mold in the toilet bowl. I could go on about the cleanliness, but I’ll stop there.

Charming and comfortable in a great walkable area

Room was super clean and comfortable. Considering it’s a historical old Florida Inn, it’s in very good shape. The lady that runs the place is absolutely wonderful. Only complaint was the noise from the band downstairs…but we are old and go to bed early, years ago that would be a perk not a complaint.

Went on a holiday weekend and had an issue with parking when we came back to the room after dark. Also, very loud room during the day and into the night. Was fine for us but I would be worried for an older crowd. But could possibly be due to the holiday weekend also. Loved location.

The inn is full of charm and history, perfectly located for exploring historic downtown Fernandina’s shops, restaurants, and waterfront. A huge shout out to Julie and Emily—they went above and beyond to make my stay special. Their kindness, helpfulness, and attention to detail made me feel completely at home. This property is everything you would expect with a building over 150 years old: quirky, beautiful, lots of stairs! It was charming with a fantastic included breakfast that had delicious quiche each morning. Friendly staff who took care of all of our needs made it feel like home. Would definitely stay there again!

We liked that is in walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The management and staff of the Inn are excellent. There are some facility things that need attention and hopefully will be addressed in the future. I would definitely stay here again.
