No employees are on the property from 6pm-7am. Our key wouldn’t fit the door. We had to trace someone down at 8pm to let us in the first night. It took 2 hours. The location was good. Parking was lacking. They only serve poached eggs for breakfast. Room was clean but lots of mold in the shower. The tile on the shower floor was slippery. They didn’t vacuum our entire stay. The coffee pot was broken and they refused to replace it. Threatening little signs kept appearing. They charged my credit card twice for the stay. I would not stay there again.

The Foxes was was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are amazing! Best I have ever had at a bnb. The location is great, easy to walk to everywhere in Sutter Creek. And very quiet too!

Good stay. Excellent facility. Very charming and well kept. Service was good. Can find little to complain about. Only one issue. There was no microwave. I ordered some take out and brought it back to my room to eat later. Later in the evening I wanted to heat my food but realized there was no way to heat it. Not a big fan of cold food so I tossed it.

Beautiful property, we stayed in the Blue Room. I loved the claw foot tub. Breakfast served in the garden is lovely and the food is great! Fresh cookies in the afternoon and I hear they will soon be serving wine as well. The sheets are some of the softest I have ever come across. We love it all!

Beautiful stay in the anniversary room in this gorgeous inn!

I stayed here with friends this August and could not have asked for more! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The inn is full of little touches and decorations that made us feel at home and welcome. There was water with strawberries and mint in it as we entered and the breakfast was amazing! I would come back in a heartbeat!!

Historic and relaxing

I had business nearby, and had to leave around 8 a.m. the staff were gracious enough to bring my breakfast to my room just after 7:30, which made it possible for me to be on time, well fortified with the delicious breakfast. The bed was great, the room was really spacious, and the only negative is the critical parking situation...we were late and had to park in an alley. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Great Place - I'll be back!

We so enjoyed our visit to Foxes Inn. The proximity to downtown shops, in town winery tasting and restaurants, could not have been better. Truly a simple walk everywhere we went - a trip to actual wineries is a car ride. Wine tasting in town is nearby and excellent. If you want to go to a winery, the Helwig winery is beautiful - with incredible sunsets! We didn't know Foxes Inn was owned by Helwig Winery but found out and our room key got us discounts at the winery. We enjoyed a Friday evening concert at the winery and then returned for a 2nd concert and dinner on Saturday night too, complete with shuttle ride so no driving concern. Great wine, wonderful view and tons of fun! We brought a bottle (or two) back to enjoy in the evening outside on the patio. Great place, we'll be back for sure!

We had The Den - wonderful spacious, yet cozy room with foxes everywhere. Softest sheets ever! Delightful to have tailored breakfast in our room and dinner in the patio garden (take out pizza and a bottle of wine purchased after too much wine-tasting)! Wish are stay was longer.

The Best B&B Ever!!!

The whole experience at the Foxes Inn was amazing. The staff is wonderful the breakfast is wonderful. We had a memorable stay here. This will always be my must go to place when we return to beautiful Sutter Creek. I cannot say enough of the staff always so friendly and always smiling. Thank you so much to the staff for making every minute so wonderful.
