Pleasant surprise

This hotel is a GEM...I was pleasantly surprised. I was visiting a friend and didn't want to stay in Jackson. This hotel was SUPER AFFORDABLE!! Conveniently located, plenty of eateries. My only recommendation is that the hotel isn't super big, so it could be swept and dusted better. And the shower was so-so. Other than that, I will definitely be staying again and again

This place is disgusting! We didn’t even put our bags down. Beds were dirty the place smelled old and very run down. Teenager said it looked like a scene from euphoria (if you know you know!) We turned around and left and went down the road didn’t even care that we lost $70

Room was clean and recently updated. Don’t count on breakfast. Nothing was out and when I asked the front desk they handed me a gallon of milk and a mini muffin. Then pointed to cold cereal dispenser.

Broken toilet!

Toilet would not flush. Then, in the middle of the night the toilet started leaking and covered the floor. I turned the water off to the toilet and had to dry the floor with the only 2 towels we had.

Rudest people ever!

The staff is VERY RUDE!!!!! We were running FIVE minutes late after the check out time and they LITERALLY pushed the door in on my husband while I was putting on my clothes!!!! They were so mean and unprofessional it was so grooms anyway but we had to book it at last minute bc my husband couldn’t drive anymore!!

*Unless you want to adopt some maggots or massive amounts of flies (live and dead) as pets, I’d suggest Anywhere else.* We got there and the lady had told me that the room needed to be cleaned and that would take about 10-15 minutes. With all the rooms there were around 5 vehicles in the whole parking lot. Maybe I overthought that aspect. Fifteen minutes later I returned and got a room. The first thing we noticed about the room was the smell. Even though it was a smoking room, it wasn’t the smell of smoke that was present. It was musty and flat out disgusting. It also stuck out that there was no shower curtain. I go to the front desk to get the WiFi password and tell them about the smell and the shower curtain. I wish there was a way to describe how rude that lady was at the front desk. After giving me the wrong password three times, she decided I get to wait for the manager to arrive. Upon being back in the room, my mother had made more discoveries. The seal on the refrigerator did not even come close to sealing shut. It looked like there was feces on the wall. We also discovered dead and live flies everywhere and MAGGOTS on the floor and in the vents. Those were the main issues of many more. I was contacting Expedia during this whole time and trying to get ANY help from the hotel staff. All 4 had a different justification and excuse. The manager never called or showed. Expedia got us a better hotel. I did not receive a refund, but they took care of us.
