This was my favorite stay in Japan , the stone bath private Onsen is a must , water was the perfect temperature. If I ever come back to Japan in this lifetime this will surely take up most of my trip. The staff was so lovely and kind , you have to book the meal as well , was not expecting such a varied and special menu.

In one word, magical. If you are looking for THE Onsen/Ryokan experience, this is it. Traditional with modern amenities. The staff are amazing and do yourself a favor and go full-board, the food is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Get a room with a private outdoor bath, you won’t regret it.

This is one of my favorite hotel/Ryokans on Earth. The food is spectacular, the service is beyond exceptional (everyone was so nice, very refreshing after staying in Tokyo), and the onsen baths are divine. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I WILL BE BACK!!

The most beautiful onsen resort and I absolutely loved it. The room was old-fashioned Japanese style with tatami mats, sliding doors, and charming, authentic feel. The whole place was so serene and peaceful. The onsen was dreamy, clean, relaxing, and just what we needed. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we felt comfortable and welcome. Everything was perfect. I’d come back in a heartbeat!
