“My family of 3 stayed two nights at Hinodeya and it was a wonderful experience all around! This was our first visit to the Izu-Penninsula and we had such a great time. The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating, truly good spirits in this generational owned ryokan. The baths were very relaxing, the entire place was very clean and good spirits all around. If you’re looking for a family run experience vs. a corporate hotel, I highly suggest staying. Also, their massage chair is...

“Hôtel absolument incroyable”

“For foreign travelers , please make sure to check if the room includes a toilet or not. Also make sure to have cash for the vending machines because the ones inside work with Japan cards only it seems”

Its a small, quiet town on a beautiful beach. The hotel itself is dated but immaculate, polished tile floors, the public and private baths on the property are amazing. Its a short 5 minute walk to the beach. I would recommend a taxi...
