The hotel is located in a good part of the city. It is currently undergoing renovations, and there is a noticeable smell of burnt wood inside. Another downside is the breakfast. Unfortunately, it was far below expectations. My recommendation would be to skip the hotel breakfast and instead get a good breakfast at Paris Baguette nearby.

Parking in a university town is just difficult. Lugging suitcases down multiple flights of garage stairs and then walking several more blocks to the entrance was somewhat ridiculous for my elderly father. We managed but it was not good. The room however was lovely and modern with nice linens and toiletries, and was an easy walk to shops, restaurants and nightlife.

Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located in downtown Ithaca. Unfortunately, the parking garage next to the hotel is under construction so we had to unload and then park a few blocks away. This was time consuming, though the hotel did its best to alleviate the problem. Overall it was s very good stay.

Our experience at the Hilton Garden hotel was quite positive due to its location, and cleanliness quietness of HVAC system. It was nearly impossible to call the actual hotel to learn about parking and pool information and not all desk staff are equally thrilled to answer questions, expecting that you'll read the materials handed to you on tiny pieces of paper. Overall, however, a positive experience, and unlike a few years ago, when their sheets off-gassed chlorine, there were no toxic odors this time around.

The room was clean Albeit there is no air circulation (return) in the room. This has made the use of the bathroom inconvenient. The location of off-site parking made dropping off and on the luggage a bit awkward and cumbersome. Other than that the hotel is in a great location with access to all what downtown Ethica has to offer.
