“The cottage was lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff in the pub were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended as a place to stay and eat.”

“Nice country pub with a cozy atmosphere. Our room was great, really clean and well presented, comfy bed and pillows, en-suite bathroom with a good shower and a decent size. Owners provided a fan which was very welcome during this current heatwave. We were greeted by Jacob in reception, really helpful, polite and respectful and he showed us to our room. “Hotel was clean, mirror but no shelf in wc for toiletries, sensor light turned off every 60 seconds whilst using the loo, not practical, no mirrors in shower room, no mirror in bedroom had to apply makeup using the hallway mirror. Complimentary tea, sugar in kitchen but sugar was contaminated by double dippers, sachets or sugar dispenser would be better. “The hotel and the pub are very tired and in desperate need of rlc and upgrade/refurb. Stains on everything from floors to ceiling. Chairs in the room and the bar that should be in the bin. The cleaners do a great job but the whole place needs dealing with. Green King you are better than this. ”

“The hotel is looking very tired. Shortage of sockets in the room for charging electronic devices. Service was good but not amazing. Ate at Farmer Butcher Chef and was disappointed with the quality of the food. Overall given the prices they charge at the hotel and restaurant it was not great. Chosen for the convenience of being on site for the Goodwood event we attended but we would likely not stay there again.”
