Wonder Wood Stay

Wonderful hospitality

Such a wonderful hospitality from the young boys in the hotel. The boy at the reception helped us in taking the luggage to room and also cordinating with the taxi guys. They also provided free umbrellas to roam arounf in the snow. i felt like home throughout my stay there and will surely recommend this hotel.

We absolutely loved our stay here! 10/10 and would highly recommend. Mohammed the host was so friendly and helpful which made us feel so much at ease during our stay. We needed help on a few occasions and Mohammed was always ready to help! Also the other staff were also amazing! The rooms were clean and breakfast varied everyday. The chef Nadider was so friendly and we enjoyed our morning laughs. The hotel is walking distance to the blue mosque, shops and food outlets. Fantastic location! We would definitely book again!

I enjoyed my three night stay here. The room is attractive, clean, and maintained. The staff is gracious. The location is very close to the heart of Sultanahmet without being right in the bustle. Two things to note: the pictures of the rooms are mixed up on the listing, so you may not get the room you see. The hotel sign is above the door next door to the lobby entrance, so of you arrive after hours and must knock, knock one door to the left.

Tivemos um problema no dreno do chuveiro que fazia o banheiro alagar, infelizmente não solucionaram. Ofereceram outro quarto mas faltavam apenas 2 dias e preferimos não ter o trabalho de mudar tudo de lugar até pq eram muitas escadas e tínhamos 5 malas. O atendimento foi impecável, de todos os colaboradores, principalmente do Muhammed, fazendo de tudo para nos ajudar com um ingresso para um jogo de futebol, super simpáticos e solícitos.

Fijn verblijf

We hebben er een prima tijd gehad personeel is erg vriendelijk we verbleven er 10 dagen weinig tot geen geluidsoverlast gehad we zaten op de bovenste verdieping prachtige kamer Alles is vanuit hier goed te doen op een steile heuvel na haha maar daar wen je snel aan Ontbijt was prima zoals de tutkse keuken simpel maar goed.

Great hotel stay Istanbul The owner Son Mohamad and staff extremely friendly and helpful,spotless and beautifully decorated, the bathroom was big and clean with hot and strong shower, Breakfast was sufficient, healthy and plentiful. WiFi signal in the room quite strong, comfortable beds with TV, Air-condition....... What else could you ask for? I’m assisted with everything I needed there’s absolutely nothing I would change or complain about in here. The location was great exactly Close to Sultan Ahmad Mosque just by walk. Close to main square. I would happily return back any time in the future. Thank you wonder wood Hotel for Everything.

Had a log cabin feel to it which was very cool. The best of all though was the service and attentiveness of the staff. Alp, who pretty much runs the place, was beyond helpful and speaks amazing english. I will definitely stay there again the next time I go to Istanbul.

Voor ons de eerste keer in Istanbul, heef het Hotel voor ons een transfer geregeld tegen een minimale vergoeding. Eenmaal aangekomen bij de prachtige en verstopte schattig houten hotel, kregen we een super warm welkom in het Wonder Wood Hotel. Na een kopje Turkse koffie kregen we een goede uitleg van de stad en wat de belangrijkste highlights zijn. Het hotel ligt op 5 minuten loopafstand van de Hippodrome, Blauwe Moskee en Aya Sofia. Daarnaast is de Big Bazaar en de Spice Bazaar op een prima loopafstand te doen (heerlijke verdwalen in de prachtige Istanbulse straatjes). De kamer is heel schoon en worden er elke dag schone handdoeken op bed gelegd. Het ontbijt is uitstekend en kan gratis ook op de kamer gegeten worden (room-service). Kortom wij hebben een heerlijk ontspannen verblijf gehad in het Wonder Wood Hotel. ABSOLUUT EEN AANRADER!
