Our room was always clean, check in and out was especially easy and we were offered a free upgrade on our room. It was the most wonderful experience we had. The room was nice, large and comfortable and I think newly decorated. The gym is very good. Outdoor pool is not great, no shade as it is at roof level so no umbrellas. Outdoor service is slow even though lots of staff, none seem to be able to complete an order and payment without consulting with others. There is no outdoor area to have a drink or dinner besides the pool area which is deserted and plays very loud music at night. Breakfast room has nice view but is dated, staff very well organised in this area. Besides service around pool area the staff are excellent and cannot do enough for you. Location is not great, on a hill and besides the palace isn’t really near anything.

The staff at reception were amazing, always smiling and super helpful. When our rooms weren’t ready we headed to the spa to freshen up for a meeting — honestly it was a great experience, really well equipped. The room itself was huge and so comfortable, loved how clean everything was. One thing worth mentioning though — parking isn’t free, which was a bit of a surprise for a hotel at this level. Overall a really enjoyable stay!

I stayed for two nights in June 2026 and had a great stay at the Ritz. It’s in a really convenient location - the major sights are just a short cab ride away, and there’s a ferry landing that’s a short walk away if you want to explore the Asian side of Istanbul. The staff were very friendly and helpful - they helped us with dinner reservations, directions, booking tours, etc. Although I didn’t go, my husband enjoyed the Turkish bath/sauna at the spa/fitness center. Lastly, I’d recommend getting the Club Room access - we stopped by multiple times to refuel (snacks, breakfast, drinks, etc). The noise from the nearby stadium during a concert didn’t bother me, although traffic around the hotel was greatly impacted - that’s the only thing I’d keep in mind! Would definitely stay there again.

Our first stay at a Ritz hotel and it was AMAZING the location was walking distance to many restaurant, shopping. Highly recommend to stay. All perfect. Having Nobu in hotel was a plus.
