4/5 – Good stay overall, but early check-in was disappointing I had a pleasant stay overall. The room was nice, the bed and shower were clean, and the breakfast was sufficient for the price. Excellent value for money. Staff were polite and kind. My only complaint was check-in. Due to last-minute flight changes, I arrived at 6:00 AM. Although I didn't expect immediate check-in, I was willing to pay an extra fee to get into a room before 1:00 PM—especially since available rooms were visible online—but the staff were not very accommodating. Note: Taksim is naturally noisy, so keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper, though it didn't bother me. I would still recommend this hotel for the value!

The main reason for the poor score is the construction next to the hotel that was going on the whole night we were there. We couldn’t sleep even a little bit. The hotel is average, but the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Spent close to a week and a half essentially "living" at this Hotel and it was an amazing experience - an amazing place. Location: very close to the main Taksim shopping district but a couple blocks from the bohemiam/artsy parts of the neighborhood which are a joy to walk thru and explore. Very close to the metro station also (within walking distance) I cannot think of a better location for this hotel to be placed, Staff: Very helpful and friendly, they suggested places to visit and were extremely helpful. Breakfast: my stay included the breakfast and this was in my mind one of the very best parts. The selection of cheeses, meats, breads, and sweets was incredible. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Room: My room was very clean. Upon check in I was impressed by the cleanliness. My walk-in shower produced hot water and strong water pressure. They also included various soaps and body washes along with complimentary water and coffee in my room. All in all if you are planning on visiting Istanbul I high highly recommend this hotel. Overall it was a joy staying here. My room was on the fifth floor and at night until about 12 am you can hear the bars and clubs on the street level however that didn't really bother me.

Nice and clean stay, spacious room, great options in the breakfast buffet. And the area isn’t as noisy as many people think, inspite of the numerous hotels & bars and crowds around. Taksim square, Istiklal street, both are just a short walk from the hotel. The staff are really very cooperative and professional. We reached the hotel in ther early morning, and the people in the reception were kind enough to offer breakfast for that day, allowed us to freshen up in the staff toilet, and also provided the room to us within an hour, with no extra fees.

The reception guys were AMAZING!!! In all my years in Travel, the check-in procedures and quality of your reception staff were EXCEPTIONAL and some of the best I've ever experienced, truly!!! Please don't offer your guests the Le Vapeur Bosphorus Dinner Cruise, they are not a good option in terms of operations and service, but we thank you for the compensation afterwards <3

We stayed at Taxim Lounge Hotel in Istanbul from January 4th to 9th, and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. One of the biggest issues was the unbearable stench coming from the toilet and bathroom. Despite raising our concerns with the staff, nothing was done to resolve the issue. Every night, we covered the shower drain, sink hole, with wet towel and tightly closed the bathroom door, but the strong odor persisted, filling the entire room. It made our stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. To make matters worse, there was no internet for three days due to road or building construction outside. While we understand external factors can cause disruptions, it was incredibly inconvenient, and no alternative solutions were offered by the hotel. The room itself was outdated and in dire need of maintenance. The doorknob was loose and falling apart, and the wooden door and bed were chipping. Overall, the room’s condition did not meet basic expectations, making the stay even more frustrating. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and approachable. However, their kindness could not make up for the issues we encountered during our stay. We would not recommend Taxim Lounge Hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and overall upkeep.

This was the best deal I could find in Taksim. The location was excellent, the room was clean and spacious, and the front desk staff were very polite. There are a few stairs at the entrance, but a gentleman kindly helped me with my luggage.The breakfast was great with plenty of choices. There was tea and coffee available. I know it may be too much to ask, but it would be excellent if they could offer Turkish coffee as well.
