Lovely little hotel in the heart of the old town

The over-the-top opulence of the hotel is very much a matter of taste - we thought it a perfect fit for the old town! A little worn at the edges, but it's a lovely place, with very helpful and attentive staff and a massive breakfast

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was a good one. The Buffay breakfast was a lot of fun specially, for the kids they get to order their own kind of omelette It’s a small boutique hotel with a very traditional feel. It is close to everything. I love the old style roads leading up to the hotel.

Charming hotel with wonderful staff

We stayed at the Sultan Tughra Hotel for 5 nights. The hotel staff are very helpful and the service is amazing. When we are back the manager Yildiz often serves us hot tea. Yildiz has done the above and beyond to help out when I need some help with the Turkish Airline. I will definitely stay in this charming, old-world mansion again. Anne

The photos on the Expedia site and Google are misleading, the rooms are so small two people struggle to fit in the room the room they gave us was underground with no windows no fresh air and the hotel had a very bad odour all around the bathroom facilities are disgusting and no employee speaks english so communication is impossible. I had booked for 4 nights and literally 5 minutes after check in had to leave the property it’s not fit to be a hotel and trying to get a refund you get sent from the hotel to Expedia and back 100 times and the hotel refuses to give the money back even though we were there for 5 minutes.Please think very carefully about wasting your money in this hotel the condition is very very poor and you will regret it.

AVOID THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!!! Checked out early it was so bad. This is a 1/2 star hotel at best, extremely disappointed with our experience here never had to deal with a missold holiday property. Please read most recent reviews it is an outdated property with rude staff and lack of amenities. Never have I ever checked out of a hotel early because of how unhygienic and unimpressed I was with the difference between what is advertised on the websites vs how outdated the hotel actually is. Short reasons why: - Unpleasant rooms and bathrooms that are unkempt - Brown splashes on the ceiling above where you sleep - Dirty walls - Rusted bathroom metallurgy - Broken mirror - A hairdryer that is from 2005 that has a filament that heats up red when used and has to turn itself off every 5 minutes to cool down - Bathroom hooks are swivelling when you hang something on them - You could turn the bathroom tap 360 degrees because it was so ill fitted/ready to come off entirely - Wallpaper coming off the walls - Worn out sofa in the room - Mezzanine floor is only 1 metre in height such that the bed is actually just a mattress on the floor, we bumped our heads every time we got up - No kettle, cups or spoons provided in the rooms - Outdated - Rude staff - we were told upon asking for some cups (because maybe they weren't provided in the room in the first place) and a butter knife that we were asking for 'too much' - - Asked where we are 'originally from' when asking for milky tea.

Leuk hotel. Eenvoudig ontbijt, maar wel passend bij Istanbul. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Kamer was leuk maar klein. Er mag wel wat onderhoud plaatsvinden. Kraan zit bijvoorbeeld los. En helaas deed de TV het niet. Goed bereikbaar met OV. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed. Ik vind het geen 4 sterren hotel. 3 sterren is een betere classificering. Personeel is vriendelijk en gastvrij. Koelkastje op kamer is ook wel lekker.

La chambre est très étroite ainsi que la salle de bain vraiment minuscule. La douche était bouchée. Le petit-déjeuner n'est absolument pas digne d'un hotel 5 étoiles (pas varié, pas très bon et pas copieux). Hôtel 3 étoiles au mieux m. Situation calme et près du centre historique.

Habe dieses Hotel extra ausgesucht um in einem speziellen Hotel in der Nähe der Moscheen zu erbringen. Das Hotel hat uns einfach eingecheckt und zu einem anderen Haus gebracht und in ein appart Hotel untergebracht. Der Mitarbeiter war dann auch sehr schnell weg. Leider mussten wir das annehmen weil es schon 21 Uhr war , deswegen bitte VORSICHT bei dem Hotel !!!

On a quiet street, walking distance to major attractions and the sea broadwalk. Reasonably priced. Its an old boutique hotel, rooms are small but clean, staff is friendly, decent breakfast custom omlets and coffees. We used card to keep ac running during our stay.
