Nice staff that was 24/7 and spoke English well. Room looked nothing like the pictures, but decent for the price. Lots of mold in the shower, and the breakfast was so sparse it shouldn’t count as breakfast.

Never expect this will be my life time experience staying sultan hostel and guesthouse.owner Hassan very nice and make sure customers have all comfort. On top one of their staff Asmet incredibly supportive and answer all your questions answered in simple and easy way. Always eager to answer and make your journey comfortable. I couldn’t say goodbye to home as he’s off to take care of his dad. Definitely love to stay there again

Fabulous & friendly welcoming place

A really fabulous short stay at The Sultan Hostel. From the warm and smiling greeting from Ahmed on the desk, the cozy clean dorm and peaceful nights sleep to the lovely breakfast and coffee in the morning and the nice staff. Perfect for a single female traveller. Safe and comfortable in a vibrant area close to all the sights. My go-to place next time in Istanbul and I will defo recommend it to other travellers. Great value and hospitality to match. Thank you!

The manager and staff were extremely helpful with walking to the places we wanted to go. Also very helpful with arranging a ride back to the airport. This place was very simple, yet it is a hostel. And the room was very clean. There were construction materials sitting around near the entrance which could be picked up,the staff was so excellent though, I didn't mind. It was very comfortable and homey. The breakfast room was the same, comfortable and homey. They have a place to keep luggage since checkout time was before my flight. That's good.

This is a basic accommodation for someone only needing a place to sleep and shower, and spend most of the time in the city. It is relatively close to the tourist sites of the area, but the street to get there do not seem that well traveled. Although this is Sultanahmet, it isn't the very busy side of the neighborhood.

The hostel is the best in sultanahmet, music all day and night, food is great. Staff are very nice and welcoming. Their pub is very nice and open all day and night. Many freebies with drinks, like popcorn, chips and others. Staff is great, specially Ahmet. Will return for sure.
