My family spent 5 days in this hotel and we loved our stay in the one bedroom apartment. The service was great and the hotel staff very kind and helpful in providing every support we asked for. Location is also excellent.

Perfect location for touristic sides of Istanbul. Friendly and helpful staff. The area is absolutely beautiful and very tourist friendly. Local bakery is just in the corner. Prices are very reasonable. Will love to visit again.

Could have been better

The hotel room had no heat the entire stay. The provided space heaters but they did very little. There was a very large outside bathroom vent that let cold air in and a very noisy fan ran all day and night on the adjacent building by the vent. The only person that was very helpful at the front desk was named Onur

The location is very convenient and quiet. However, the hotel, situated in an old building, was advertised as a place for 4 with 2 bathrooms. We were surprised to discover only one tiny bathroom, and both rooms were not very comfortable.and beds were not comfortable

We recently stayed at Selvese Suites in Istanbul for two days, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. To start with, the flush in the bathroom was broken, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that advertises itself as a “suite.” Even worse, they completely misrepresented the sleeping arrangements — they advertised sofas as actual beds, and we ended up having to sleep on uncomfortable sofas instead of proper beds. There were no comforters provided, no drinking water available in the room, and we had to explicitly ask for these basic necessities. The entire place felt hastily thrown together in a “Frankenstein” way, with odd combinations of furniture and design that made the space feel cramped and far smaller than advertised. Overall, we felt misled and very uncomfortable during our stay. I would not recommend Selvese Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable or honest accommodation experience in Istanbul. Also, they bring breakfast in your room with limited items, another false advertisement.

Beauty balcony view of Galata Tower, just minutes walk away. Located in what is a now a Syrian neighborhood. You can find economical, genuine Syrian food just steps away but “NO” alcoholic drinks, for those one must go back up towards the Tower area. Want to thank Mehmed for his willingness to help.
