Lovely hotel in a calm and cute area couple of blocks away from the bustling bazaars, but still entirely within walking distance. Kadiköy ferry is about 20 min away. In the immediate area surrounding the hotel, you'll find great breakfast options and some mini markets as well. Room was clean and tidy, refreshed every day including the slippers, soaps and such, friendly and helpful staff, and indeed calm and quiet: The only noise we heard was birds in the morning. Our room view opened to the seaside which has no roads, instead a park with a walking path and beyond it, the sea. We stayed for three nights after a week in the Sultanahmet area, and it was such a bliss in comparison - should've just picked Riva's for the whole trip, really! Among the boutique hotels in Istanbul, I believe Riva's Moda is top class, and I'll heartily recommend it!

The Hoel was small and tucked into the neighborhood with almost immediate access to a waterfront park. The room was spacious and very clean, although the bathroom could have used some physical maintenance. I appreciated the bottles of water left each day but, and this is my only nit, I could not find any information in the room describing hotel procedures or amenities. I would stay at Riva's Moda again, particularly for the wonderful rooftop restaurant!

Amazing place- it just became my top place to stay in Istanbul.. Close to many many restaurants and shops, 15mins walk from Kadikoy metro station, they have an amazing roof top restaurant.. Highly recommend

Great location on the Asian side. Good cafes and a 15-20 min walk to the ferry. It's a bit of a distance if you plan to visit the European side daily but the ferry ride is great. The desk staff were very helpful and it's nice having a restaurant on premises. We had a standard room and it was fine for us.

Beautiful waterfront hotel. There are a couple dining options nearby but be prepared to walk, like the rest of Istanbul. The staff is very friendly and gave wonderful assistance with getting Taxis when needed.

Wonderful staff and beautiful rooms

Beautifully maintained property with friendly staff and a home-away-from-home feel. I loved every day of my stay here. There was a misunderstanding during the online booking but the staff were extremely supportive and accommodating, and resolved my issue right away. Comfortable and beautiful rooms with amazing views. The beer garden downstairs has a lovely relaxed vibe and good food. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience

Room 303 was amazing, every day it was cleaned, there were 3 windows that made me really happy. Shower was so comfortable and good. Bed was great and room was spacious. At night it was quite and no noise or sounds. I stay in this hotel second time and I’m very happy with it.

This is the best hotel in Istanbul hands down. The room was immaculate, the shower amazing. We loved the location which is in the heart of Moda. I cannot give enough praise to the staff who were all very kind and helpful. I recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul.

As comfortable as your house…..

The room was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The view was very nice. But if you want to go to Moda, the hill was very difficult and also to find a cab . And the beer garden was noisy for me.And they don't have breakfast which was very inconvenient. Hotel doesn’t ’ have parking .The sea side promenade was very beautiful.

Riva’s Hotel was overall a very pleasant experience. Staff was helpful and friendly and the location was close to the waterfront. The rooftop restaurant had a beautiful view and good food. Loved walking everywhere within 15-20 minutes to shop, eat and sightseeing. Our room was comfortable and nice, although there were items that needed repair and maintenance. Overall, I recommend this boutique hotel.
