The room was clean and well set up, as well as the bathroom. All amenities were working well. Staff were friendly and helpful even with the language barrier. It was a strategic location and we could easily walk around the town or take the tram to visit other famed tourist attractions in Istanbul. The breakfast at the hotel was reasonably priced and we received a full Turkish breakfast set each time. My only concern about this place was that it was right above a restaurant, and this allowed a lot of cigarette smoke to seep into our room. We were moved up to a higher floor after the first night, and this problem wasn’t too prevalent anymore, though there was still a lingering smoke smell whenever we exited our floor. If you could maybe do something to prevent the smoke from entering the rooms in the future, it would be great. I suffer from heart failure and this affected my comfort and breathing tremendously. Hope you’ll be able to remedy this situation soon. Thank you!
