As a solo female traveler, finding a safe, well-located, and welcoming accommodation is paramount, and Lokalist surpassed my expectations, offering a sanctuary with its verdant views and exceptional service. The service at Lokalist was notably distinct from the formal hospitality one might expect at luxury properties. Here, the atmosphere was one of friendly, calm, and caring interactions. The staff’s recommendations were spot on, guiding me to a local fish kiosk for a delightful cured salmon sandwich and to the oldest candy shop nearby for some exquisite marzipan. These suggestions not only satiated my culinary curiosities but also enriched my cultural experience in Istanbul. Although Lokalist is a newcomer in the hospitality scene, it was evident that meticulous thought had gone into selecting the finest elements to create an environment that transcends mere accommodation. From its prime location next to Gezi Parki to the attentiveness of its staff and the quality of its services, Lokalist stands out as a beacon of boutique luxury.

Hotel com excelente localização em Istanbul, junto à praça Taksim, com acesso fácil a toda a cidade através de inúmeros meios de transportes. A poucos metros da famosa Rua İstikla, com lojas, docerias, restaurantes entre outros tipos de comércio. Sobre o hotel, ele deveria ser classificado como boutique e não 5 estrelas, apesar de ter um atendimento cordial, algumas amenidades como academia, ele está longe de um padrão 5 estrelas. Nosso quarto era confortável, e limpo, porém muito pequeno. Destaque para os produtos Byredo no banheiro. Café da manhã gostoso, mas sentimos falta de opções de pães, e o salmão teve apenas em um dos dias. Gostamos do hotel, mas não ficaríamos lá em uma próxima vez, porque pelo valor pago, tem outras opções melhores na cidade.
