I had a really great stay at this hotel. The place was very clean. The rooms were nice and well-maintained, with a modern touch that added to the overall experience. One of the best parts was how quiet it was—perfect for relaxing or getting a good night’s sleep. The staff was friendly and professional too. The hotel is walkable from many tourist destinations. The room was exactly as described. The breakfast was good, with many choices. The staff was friendly, especially Nadeem, who was very friendly and helpful.

Lot of noise around coming from restoration of another building.they had to mention to us before booking and when we ask to change the room they ask for more money.some of the stuff were not friendly and helpful..the door and the furniture needs some renovation.all the options inside are so expensive like spa but the region around is so perfect and the breakfast was great

Some people say a hotel is just a room to lay your head at night. Sometimes this is true but not with the Legacy Ottoman Hotel. The hotel - the staff were wonderful. Fro the moment I booked the room they went out of their way to ensure that my stay with them was perfect and trouble free. They arranged for a car to take me from the airport to the hotel and back again. And during my whole stay - the front desk, the security, the kitchen staff, the bar staff - they were all exceptional. And it’s the staff who make a hotel. The room was wonderful. Very well appointed and always well maintained in my absence. The breakfast was both well presented and plentiful. I was pleased with the hotels location too as this was my first time in Istanbul, I wanted to stay in the heart of the city. All in all this is a wonderful hotel and I would happily stay there again. And I will stay there again one day.

Not a 5 star hotel, more like 3 star. The rooms have a nice old fashioned feel but the bathroom facilities are lacking compared to other international destinations. Shower leaks into the main bathroom area and you are constantly cleaning it and using towels to dry the area. Hot water is not hot but warm. Air conditioning works sometimes.

The staff were friendly and helpful and seemed ready to act quick on our report of the loose handrail in the bathroom (though no idea how quickly it was actioned as we were checking out that morning). The room was clean and the air conditioning/heating worked. The hotel doesn't have the best noise proofing, so you will hear traffic, ferry horns, etc. even on the upper floors but we were able to sleep okay. The hotel is right in the Old City, so just a 20 min walk from Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, and surrounded by great shops and eateries. The restaurants have lovely views, and breakfast buffet was nice, varied, and tasty.

The Legacy Ottoman Hotel in Istanbul is far from what distinguishes a 5-star* Hotel. Luxury, exceptional service, and attention to detail are things that you will not find at this accommodation hotel. The standard of comfort and amenities is lower than at any other hotel in the area. Their staff-to-guest ratio is very poor, with appalling management behaviour, demotivated and low-energy staff, and an overpromising guest relations team. Nevertheless, the rooms are dated, with oversized furniture, no special features, and limited or non-existent views.
