We (a couple) stayed for a weekend, great place, great staff, a very charming 200 years old building with sea view and very pretty garden! It's located in a part of the island that is quiet and takes 15 min to walk to the center or you can take the bus which passes by the hotel (and use your credit card or istanbul kart to ride it). Had a lovely stay, I definetly recommend

Four nights in Buyukada.

We booked a deluxe room but on arrival couldn’t relax, as the reception desk was a couple of feet outside the front door and we heard every booking and phone call. Why the reception couldn’t be moved elsewhere to a more appropriate location, I have no idea. Eventually, was offered a different and lower grade room. After moving, we discovered the room was very shabby and unhygienic. Throughout our stay, no one came to clean the room. In fact, the room was so substandard that after the first night we booked a different hotel and stayed there for the rest of the trip. A shame, because the location was excellent, the historic building was beautiful, and breakfast was good. However, there is no excuse for offering unhygienic rooms or no room cleaning. An overpriced hotel for what is being offered.

All good, only the property needs a bit more attention as it is slightly shabby. More relaxing outdoor sitting would make it more comfortable. So many tables, could the first line of tables been used for longing with appropriate furnitures? Lastly, the place is becoming overrun by cats. It's quite a fight at breakfast time when they keep trying to jump on your table and eat in your plate...

Eski bir yapının bakımını sağlamak zor olsa gerek, eminim çaba harcanmıştır ama iç mimarlık ofisi olan bir otelin banyolarının bu kadar kullanışsız ve bakımsız olmasına şaşırdık. Duvarda önceden öldürülmüş böcekler rahatsız edici şekilde duruyordu. Çok güzel bir yapı, fakat ahşap olması nedeniyle her odanın sesi birbirinin içinde. Hassasiyeti olanlar sevmeyebilir. Bahçesi çok hoştu, kış bahçesini de beğendik kışın hoş olabilir.

Bahçeli veya Bahçeli Deluxe Oda tutacaklar bir kez daha düşünsün. Ana bina aksine köşede kalmış ve unutulmuş odalar bunlar. Öncelikle evlilik yıldönümümüz için merkezden uzak, sessiz bir yer olarak tercih ettik. Rezervasyonda özel gün olduğunu not etmiştik ama hiç okunmadığına eminim. "kahvaltı dahil" olmasına rağmen girişte "kahvaltı yok sanırım" şeklinde soruldu. Halbuki rezervasyonda her şey yazıyordu. Emin olmasak kahvaltı verilmeyecek miydi, bilemedik. Kahvaltı içeriğine gelince 8/10. Gayet yeterli ve doyurucuydu, teşekkürler. Odaya kadar eşlik edilip, bilgi beklerdik. Anahtarı teslim aldıktan sonra odamızı kendimiz bulduk. Rezervasyon notunda "ikram" talebimiz vardı ancak odaya su bile konulmamıştı. İlk gün kendimiz tedarik ettik, sonrasında ne eksikse malesef tespit edip talep ettik ve karşılandı. Oda ile banyo/tuvalet arası sürgülü plastik kapı kırıktı ve muhtemelen uzun zamandır kırıktı. Tam kapanmıyor, kapının üstü açık, hem ses(yankılı) hem koku tüm odada duyuluyordu. 2 tanecik askılık vardı ve kırıktı, hiç kontrol bile edilmemiş. Kumanda pilleri bile yenilenmemiş ve ısırılmıştı, düşünün. Çarşıda 2 güne 3-4 bin ₺'ye kalacakken, çarşıdan uzak 8-10 bin ₺'ye daha iyi hizmet beklerdik. Daha iyi hizmet için kendilerine de geri dönüş sağladık, umarım bizden sonraki misafirler memnun kalır. Partnerimle giderim, tuvalette ses/koku bizi rahatsız etmez. Eksikler sorun değil, her şeyi talep etmekle uğraşırım derseniz iyi tatiller dilerim. Genel puan 3/10 :(

Oda oldukça kirli ve bakımsızdı akşam saatlerinde giriş olmasına rağmen klima açılmış ama ısıtma konumunda açılmadığı için oda soğuktu yerler de eskiden kalma ayak izler ve toz vardı bonyo bölgesi oldukça soğuk (hiçbir ısıtma yok ) ve kirli yerde saç ve kırık fayanslar kirli duş bölgesi ,odadaki koltuk kolçağı kırık ve yatak göçük denebilecek kedar yumuşak . Çok güzel bir bina tamamen işletmenin ihmali yüzünden bu halde izlenimi oldu .Karşılama resepsiyon ve hitap tarzı sadece olumlu olan . geç saat olmasa kalmadan çıkmayı düşündüğüm bir konaklama .
