Lots of shops & restaurants in the area, many open late. Colorful murals all around, and many beloved street cats (and a few dogs). FYI If you like to go to bed early, this is not a quiet neighborhood. The hotel is very cute, and the staff friendly. There is an elevator, but there are several steps required to get to it.

I recently stayed at Hotel Des Arts Galata, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was spotless, with well-maintained rooms and common areas. The Hotel Des Artes in Galata was in a fantastic location. Just steps from the beautiful tower, and so close to many shops, cafés and restaurants. The hotel itself is a beautiful old building, and the rooms are full of cute vintage touches. The staff, especially Siren, we’re all friendly. The breakfast provided was at a café a few steps away, and was excellent.

Instanbul made easy.

The hotel is well placed , 50 mètres from the Galata Tower. The neighborhood has many restaurants and bars and the local people are friendly and helpful. The public transport is excellent. We enjoyed the visit.

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and it was amazing! Direct views to the Galata Tower and there was access to a rooftop terrace which was beautiful. The staff was also the sweetest and accommodated with any needs. Hasan was the best and helped us out a lot! Would definitely return to this hotel when visiting again.
