Recently visited Istanbul for the first time! I had a really pleasant stay overall and would happily recommend this hotel. It’s situated in what is arguably one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Istanbul, easily my favourite area in the city. There are plenty of public transport options within walking distance, and you’re spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants, cafés, and places to explore nearby. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which made a big difference throughout the stay. The hotel itself was also very clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort. There are just a couple of areas where I think the experience could be improved. The in-room coffee and tea selection was quite limited, and upgrading this would be a nice touch. Additionally, the hotel operates with heating only, which is mentioned in the room details but I unfortunately overlooked this when booking. To their credit however, the staff were very accommodating and adjusted the temperature to be cooler during the first couple of nights. But, I was later informed this was no longer possible. For a hotel of this standard, it would be ideal to have individual room temperature control so guests can set it to their preference. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with a few minor areas for improvement.

The location was excellent, everything else was ok. The A/C didn’t work, we couldn’t keep the patio door open because of the neighbors smoking, short on towels/blankets, long on light switches that worked on individual lights instead of sets. There was some nice finishing touches but it has clearly been poorly constructed in some parts (a whole light panel came off the ceiling our first day). If you’re on a budget it’s fine for the location benefits but not sure we’d stay again.

Nice, big room with balcony, clean, nice bed, quiet, nice staff. Only 100 meters from Galata Tower. 350m to the Metro station. You get to and from IST in 60 minutes with only one metro line change.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it’s a great little property, check in was simple and easy. The staff was always friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant attached to the property, we did not eat there but it looked good if you need a bite to eat. The hotel is within walking distance of public transport, sights such as the Galata tower, the Bosporus and so forth. Room itself was small, but it was clean and comfortable for two people.

Galata Tower Stay

Great proximity to the tower. Your taxi will have a very difficult time navigating the streets nearby. Be prepared to walk a block with your luggage. The neighborhood while safe really needs a wash. It's surprising that the hotels on the street don't each pitch in for a cleaning crew. Basic hotel presentation kind of stuff. If you're going to be doing your hair or makeup in the room, know that the lights in the room and bathroom are dim.
