We had such a wonderful experience during our first stay that we decided to return just two weeks later for an additional night—and once again, the team exceeded our expectations. Traveling with a baby can be challenging, but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. We were generously upgraded to a larger room for the second time, which made a huge difference for our family. They also kindly accommodated a late check-out, allowing us to keep our baby on schedule and enjoy a much more relaxed departure. We are incredibly grateful for the warmth, hospitality, and genuine care shown by everyone at the hotel. It’s rare to find a team that is so attentive and thoughtful. Thank you for making us feel so welcome on both visits—we truly appreciate everything you did for us and look forward to staying with you again in the future.

I booked non-smoking Superior King Room, but received room #914 which isn't non-smoking and isn't superior (with stained carpets, full size bed and awful cigarettes smell). I was in a mood to give a very negative review, but after I saw how the housekeeper did her best to clean and ventilate my room, I changed my mind. Also breakfast was included in my booking and it was very, very good.

This is a great hotel. Very upscale incredible breakfast buffet incredible amenities gym hot tub boxing rooms steam rooms etc. Conveniently located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Hard to find people that speak English fluently apparently in all of Istanbul but even at this hotel. Also prepare to be at the center of international men's hair transplants in Istanbul. As you will see bandaged men walking throughout the lobby and at breakfast sometimes with a little blood oozing out of the bandages. Bandaged men at the hotel city streets museums and airports. Get used to it.

Very Disappointing Experience – Dedeman Hotel We came to Istanbul for just one night and chose Dedeman because it is a well-known hotel with a long history and reputation. We booked through Expedia, and based on the photos, we paid about $30 extra for a larger room and a king-size bed. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The room was much smaller than we expected, and instead of the king-size bed we specifically paid for, there was a small single-size bed. The bathroom was also missing basic amenities such as soap and toothpaste, which I would expect from a hotel of this category. What made the situation even more disappointing was that I saw the room next to ours while it was being cleaned, and it was clearly much larger than the room we were given. Since we were only staying for one night, it honestly felt like we were being given a smaller room because we were short-term guests. That is not a pleasant feeling for a customer. For the extra money we paid, we could have stayed at a much nicer and more comfortable hotel. If I had to choose again, I would definitely choose Polat Hotel instead. Dedeman has a long history and a name that deserves better. In my opinion, the hotel seriously needs to be renovated and brought up to modern standards. Otherwise, the reputation and name it has built over so many years may slowly disappear. I personally cannot recommend this hotel. Based on our experience, it does not feel like a 5-star hotel. It feels more like a 3-star hote
