The location is perfect when you are visiting old Istanbul. The staff was amazing. Helped us plan tours, taxi and recommendations for places to eat. Highly recommend their breakfast and lunch. We would have enjoyed their bar being open in the evening- it isn't.

This hotel is good value for money although it is a little dated. Location is great for visiting the Blue Mosque and other historic sites in this district. It’s well connected with trams stations a short walk away., and you can walk to the bizarres in 15 mins. Staff are friendly and helpful; breakfast is good and plentiful. The only drawback is that the area is quiet in the evening with not too much nightlife and if that’s what you’re after, you should stay in a different district. Due to the close proximity to the Mosque, you will be woken at 5am but in fairness that was part of the charm and probably the case for most of Istanbul

Hotel St Sophia is in an excellent location in Sultanahmet. We arrived in IST and took the Haviest to the hotel. A big thank you to Enes for making our check in and check out so seamless. Our room on the 3rd floor had a spectacular view of the Blue Mosque and was extremely quiet. The breakfast selection was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent location most places (blue mosque, restaurant’s, bazaar market etc) were just a short walk away, room was cleaned every day with clean bedding and towels which was really nice. Staff were very helpful from booking to giving directions and ideas were to visit, also offered a personal guide to show you around for around €200 cash for the day and Taxi to the airport €75 cash approximately. We will definitely be returning!

We recently stayed at saint sophia hotel for 5 days and we had a great time this hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul city across from Hagia Sophia mosque and three minutes walk to the blue mosque the staff was amazing the room was very clean and breakfast was delicious.
