Thank you for a lovely stay and all the helpful staff. The room great with a comfortable bed and great amenities. We really enjoyed relaxing on the balcony in our robes watching the sunset over the Bosphorus.

Spectacular! The property is in prime location, close to everything important in sultanahmet area, close to the water (10 minutes walk or less), close to Galata bridge. Staff are wonderful and a view you can never get enough of! I highly recommend this property if you are in Istanbul to explore this rich and beautiful city!

Luckily I have terrace access. The room was too hot at first and AC temp control was so slow to kick on. By the time we got it going, while we were sleeping, the temp was switched to heater and hot. My husband had to call the front desk and they said they controlled the temperature :((. A+ for location was so close to the Blue Moss and Haghia Sophia. Food around the area was pricey

The staff at Biz Cevahir hotel was exceptional! They were very helpful and took care of any request we had. The rooms are very clean and having breakfast included was perfect! The hotel location is in the middle of Old City at a walkable distance from major monuments, dining options and tram station. I highly recommend staying at this hotel anytime you're visiting Istanbul. Thank you all!

most of the staff was friendly, one was rude for some reason, should of gotten his name, manager was very helpful and warm, walkable to everything, however my room was very very tight, had trouble opening my suitcases or praying with a mat on the floor, i was by myself, if i had my family with me, we would of been in trouble

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Biz Cevahir wih my wife and young son. The hotel is situated perfectly on a quiet street but literally only a 2 minute walk to the Hagia Sofia Mosque/ Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace. The hotel is great...clean, easily accessible with a great breakfast selection. The staff were all friendly and very helpful..I have to make special mention of the day reception manager Jafer..he was so polite, professional and always ready to help...a true gentleman who facilitated our stay. I would heartily recommend this Hotel and i'm already planning another stay!!

Excellent location with main attractions and tram within walking distance. Rooms were a good size with amenities provided (slippers, robes, shower gel, shampoo etc), and staff were friendly. Soap was provided rather than handwash. If you require handwash, I recommend buying at the airport after passing security, as the nearby shop charge extortionate price. WiFi in the rooms were terrible, including mobile data (I recommend purchasing Vodafone sim rather than Turk cell sim, as Turk cell data was terrible in the hotel as well). There was decent WiFi in the hotel lobby/reception area. Despite being a non-smoking property, there was a lingering cigarette smell from time to time. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Good, But Not Exceptional

Over years I stayed in multiple hotels in Sultanahmet and frankly don't see how this one is better than many others, why are ratings are so high. Positives: - great Turkish service. Had a problem with the room, got changed quickly - location - elevator - clean, fresh Negatives: - rock hard beds - very fat pillows. Asked for something for humans and a couple of normal pillows were provided (see Turkish service in Positives) - a/c did not work (switched off as it is October), making us sleep with windows open. Old town is noisy late. - one of the glasses in the room had a broken edge, this is plain dangerous - breakfast is barely ok, I had much better in Old Town hotels - no power outlet for a phone charger next to a bed, had to disconnect the room phone - no gym. Yes, I know, this is a smaller hotel in Sultanahmet, but it shows 4*. A 4* without even a small gym? So overall a pretty decent place to stay as long as you can live with really hard beds, but exceptional? I don't think so.
