Very nice room and bathroom. The check-in was smooth and the staff was kind and helpful. The location is perfect because it is around 500 meters from Taksim Square on Istiklal Street. The Istiklal Street Tram has a stop right outside the hotel (Aga Camii). The hotel is 2 blocks from the main road where you can find buses to pretty much anywhere including Karakoy and Eminonu. Plenty of shopping and dining options within a stone's throw away. Cannot ask for a more convenient location if you are a tourist. Couple of things to be aware of 1. It does get noisy at night in the alley due to people and loud music. 2. The elevator is on the 2nd floor so if you have heavy luggage, be prepared to carry it up to the 2nd floor before accessing the elevator. Overall this was a very nice accomodation. Some minor imprefections that they can certainly pay more attention to but I can't complain because it is very good value for money. I do highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel owner and the woman at reception was absolutely lovely and understanding. I had to make a last minute reservation so my room was rushed and couldn’t be prepared on time. Such a shame as the location of the hotel is very central and convenient -just a step away from all the wonders of Istanbul.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel eine große Enttäuschung. Das Zimmer war bei unserer Ankunft schmutzig, im Bett lagen Haare und es wirkte überhaupt nicht richtig gereinigt. Zudem war es die ganze Nacht extrem laut, sodass an Schlaf kaum zu denken war. Besonders unangenehm war, dass nachts sogar versucht wurde, unsere Zimmertür zu öffnen und gehämmert wurde, wodurch wir uns sehr unsicher gefühlt haben. Aufgrund dieser Zustände mussten wir das Hotel bereits nach wenigen Stunden wieder verlassen. Das Hotel entsprach in keiner Weise der Beschreibung auf Expedia. Ich kann dieses Hotel leider nicht empfehlen. Es war kein Boutique Hotel wie beschrieben,sondern ein Bordell wo sich Menschen ihr Körper verkauft haben. Beim Verlassen des vermeintlichen Hotel stand auch keiner an der Rezeption. Und ist aufgarkeinen Fall Familienfreundlich, denn die Gegend ist sehr gefährlich.
