Staff was super nice and hospitable. They went above and beyond for us to make sure we had a great experience. We had issues with the rooms, one ac was broken, the second was super small with broken shower head. They kindly transferred us into a 3 room. Also let us have breakfast earlier since we had an early flight. Hotel is pretty, breakfast was a plus. Location is great. A lot to see nearby, lots of shops and restaurants. We even walked to galata tower☺️

The hotel has a small pool with sauna facilities and a roof terrace and a beautiful covered garden area off of reception. The staff are always smiling and any issues were sorted straight away. The breakfast is simple and fresh with everything you need and there are some extras at €3 I thought that was responsible. When I go back to Istanbul I will stay here it has two parks front and back, where there’s a large supermarket and beautiful garden cafe.

Elegant old vintage hotel with nice Hamam.

Old hotel on a quiet street close to the water with an elegant vintage feel and velvet couches. The Hamam and sauna was a highlight for us; small but nice.The staff was friendly and helpful. 15 minute walk to the Sultanahmet tram. Overall would recommend for the price we paid in off season March.

Fantastic hotel with a lovely spa and the terrace was one of the best parts of the holiday. The only issue I had was that torturing breakfast music, the same 5-6 songs keep repeating for 3 hours, day after day...Oh my God and we stayed there for 2 weeks. Absoloutely wonderful hotel. The hotel is in a prime spot to walk to major attractions and also beautiful parks, shops and restaurants. This was our second stay in 10 days, the latter being due to missed flight connection. We did not hesitate in returning to the hotel and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Special thanks to Fatih, Yunus and Yusuf who helped us immensely to get comfortable before returning home. Highly recommended and I'm sure we'll return again.

Excellent hotel, staff and location

This was our second stay at this hotel the first was about 8 years ago. We chose it again because of the location, easy walking distance to all the sites in the old city and the restaurants. The hotel is a lovely place and they have a great small indoor pool, hammam and sauna, great for relaxing after a day of walking the old city visiting the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Grand Bazaar and the Basilica Cistern and more. The staff are great and very helpful and always ready to assist, great people the Turkish. We highly recommend the Antea Palace Hotel & Spa.

Old hotel with old photos!

The rooms in the photos are of the best rooms they have. Double / twin rooms are VERY small. Most rooms were refurbished with cheap materials: the bed boards you see in photos exists in half the rooms, the once wooden floor are now made of paper. Also, both saunas were not working. And, the receptionist lied there were no more rooms available to show when the hotels site was showing 8.
