The staff were excellent assists to us as first timers in Istanbul. Helped us will transit, restaurant suggestions and sights to see. Booking a very early taxi to Saw Airport was perfect. Loved the hotel and will return.

Great location on a quiet side street which was a short walking distance to the main attractions. Hotel team were very helpful. Big shout out to Borhan and Zaki who were great and made the stay really enjoyable!

All the staff very friendly and very helpfull. Ilyass was realy great by helping me to book transport for me and my family. He was great at showing me how to get to places using public transport . Bourhan was very helpfull as well great service . The food was great as well, the buffi has different food wich makes it easy for everyone to find something to eat .

Excellent staff, clean rooms and great room service. Location is superb and very convenient. Breakfast has good variety and options. Nothing to complain - the staff was super helpful and nice. Would 100% recommend it. If I come back to Istanbul, will choose to stay here again.

Traditional Old City Hotel

We arrived before check-in, and I was pleasantly greeted with the news that a room was ready. Borhan introduced us to the hotel, and even brought us a lovely Turkish coffee to welcome us to Turkey. Our stay went perfectly. Great location between Guilhame Tram Stop and Eminou. Easy walk everywhere, including the Bosphorus River. Breakfast was excellent, and the room met our needs. Housekeeping was fantastic, the room was serviced in the morning, so when we returned, it was already cleaned. We would stay here again.

The room was very small. Very little room to walk around the beds. But the staff was friendly and the hotel is close to many things on the European side of old Istanbul.

Location and Comfort

Near to all the tourist places in Sultanhamet, and with lots of places nearby to eat, including the hotel itself, this hotel is a no brainer. Not on a main road so no passing traffic. We booked single rooms, which were actually king size beds each. Fridge & safe in the room. The taxi can drop you off just a few metres from the hotel. All the staff are welcoming and ready to help.

Great location, clean, friendly staffs. The 2 reasons for 4 stars rather than 5, are the unstable and slow-ish internet. It's workable, just a bit annoying. The other thing is the thin wall. It's ok if your neighbour is quiet, but during our last night stay, they decided to watch TV till late.

Excellent Hotel

Location: Excellent 5 minutes walk from Gulhane Tram Station (T1) 12 minutes walk to Hagia Sophia Mosque 12 minutes walk to Eminonu Port for Ferry to the asian side. Many restaurants in the vicinity. Check In Process: Very Quick Room: We were in Room 111 which was a good size for 2 people, but did not include a chair or a Kettle, but you could call the reception for hot water and a flask with hot water would be sent over. TV: Had a couple of English channels (CNN, BBC etc) Breakfast: Excellent breakfast options. A variety of Turkish delicacies and desserts. The quality of the orange juice could be improved. Customer Service: All the staff were very polite and helpful. Checkout Process: Very efficient and Speedy We will definitely stay here again.

Asur is a hidden gem, in the land of whether or not you are getting the right information, staff were truthful and advised that was best for the guests. An example of this was, the taxi driver we got ourselves were quoting 2000 liras for a ride to the airport and the staff got us a taxi for 1000 liras which is the normal price, a taxi quoted us 500 liras to go to taksim and they said do not go more than 150. I always found comfort in a trustful staff. As for the hotel, it is close to most of the tourist attractions (all walking distance), we went to Hagia Sophia 3 times and it takes 7 minutes to walk there! Everything is so conveniently close like The Grand Bazaar, Galata Tower, Bosphorous etc. The free breakast is also a nice touch, it tastes goood and I loove the fresh bread every morning. I definitely recommend Asur. Love from Canada
