“Due to a change in circumstances we had to book a hotel in Oban at short notice. The Scott was one of the few hotels that had a room available for one night. The hotel is located on the main road as you drive into town. The traffic was a little noisy up until 9pm It has parking at the back of the hotel at a cost of £10 for 24 hours. “This older home was charming and the host was as well. Breakfast is not provided but our host had a bag of items to take with us for the day, including a banana, a carton of juice, granola bar etc. Tea and water was available to make in the room. The room was clean and comfortable. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep so be mindful of that. You can walk to restaurants but the shortcut is a bit steep too.
