The Starlight Retreat was in a beautiful location, the tents were large and the beds/bedding very clean and comfortable. We would have appreciated a source of heat in the tent during our late Sept stay. They are also building a bath house which will be nice!

This is a fun little add on to any vaca in Yellowstone. The night stars are such a fun way to enjoy camping. The place if well maintained and staff are nice. Cold showers and cows if you like that sort of thing. We enjoyed our stay and recommend.

My family and I were really happy with the tent we had but I have to say that the staff ( Hailey and Darrell) were fabulous. They gave great tips on things to see and do in the area and shared stories. We would stay here again

Great stay this weekend. Check in process went so smoothly. It had been raining and staff members covered the beds with plastic so beds were nice and dry. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of blankets.

Beautiful area and perfect for getting ready to go through Yellowstone. For having shared bathroom and showers, it was cleaner than expected. It was pretty cold throughout the night when we were there, we had to use the extra blankets and sleeping bags we brought. I’m not convinced the throw blankets in the tent had been washed. So just come prepared! It was rainy so we didn’t get to enjoy the campfire and smores but sounded fun! I’d come back to check it out again!

Staff were really friendly! Washrooms were clean. Didn’t notice any dirty parts. Campfire every evening which is nice way to meet new people. Was pretty close to Yellowstone national park which is really nice. Note: tents are not heated. So if you can’t handle 0 degrees Celsius that’s 32 degrees for you Americans then don’t book during cold weather periods. Also, showers were hot for only about 2 mins, so shower fast!

The tents were all unique, very clean and spacious. The property has pots and pans to cook with as well as a grill and stove area. Outside games were a hit and the fire pit was a big hit for the kids. We made smores and played games. Absolutely loved our stay here. Will be back. And I recommend.

The roads could use a grading. The tents were spacious and the bedding as simple as it was kept us warm in about 50°F. The camp host was helpful and supportive. Being extra batteries, as the charged power source was useful tho only for about an hour. If arriving late, the towel policies and shower schedule was not well described

It truly was amazing to get this experience and the tippie was nice and cozy. Getting to come back in the evening after a day's out and coming back to smores and campfire sitting with other campers getting to know them was good experience and somthing we would definitely do again. Showers and bathrooms where nice and clean. They do have coffee there in the mornings other stuff to buy if needed for snack. The staff so friendly and willing help if needed. So if anyone is looking to get an experience worth have definitely go check it out.

Super fun and cute vibe. The nightly community bonfire was a nice touch, and the tipi/grounds in general were as clean as you could expect. We stayed in 5 different places during this trip and Starlight Retreat was the favorite of my children - we will likely return again in the future when able.

Inside the tent was very nice and clean. There’s battery that powered lamp and phone charged. The staff in person were friendly. Extra blankets and towels were available on request. Heater was available on request for a fee. The check-in process is patterned to a hotel where you go to a front desk which I believe has specific period that is opened. We arrived late in the evening for first night so we were not able to check in, I wish there was a self check in. Communication via the travel agent, in my case Expedia, could be improved in terms of responsiveness. The bed, sofa and all the inside setup of the tent was great. Other than grass outside and the communal facility there’s none like tub, grill (maybe this by design so just fyi)

Tent inside was okay. Beds were comfortable … toilets and showers were dirty. No toilet paper. No warm showers. No landing at the tent and it rained so there was a lot of mud puddles. Toilets was relatively far away from tent and with the rain it was too muddy to walk so we had to drive every time we wanted to go. Concept is great but I think with the price I paid I expected more.

The location was about 30-45 minutes away from the West-Yellowstone Entrance, Once we found the location, the check In was very cute ! In a Tent ! The receptionist was very friendly and because there was a chance of RAIN the weather was forecasted to be in the cold 50’s so we rented a portable small Heater wth 2 propane tanks, each tank is to last about 6 hrs. Once settled in we drove about 5-10 minutes EAST on the main highway to find some food. There are a few Restaurants and a market where you can buy already made sandwiches, salads, chips, Plastic utensils, and even buy some souvenirs. Our night stay was amazing it started raining and the sound of the rain was very soothing and romantic, the only downfall was we were not able to stargaze as we had planned but we definitely enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the portable heater kept the room somewhat warm but we were prepared with warm clothing and slept pretty well. In the morning we drove to the bathrooms due to the road being muddy and wet for about 20 yards. The portable bathroom was cold and the water to take a shower was very cold aswell. We went back to our Cute, Comfortable, very Roomy Tent - packed and drove back out to the main Offfice Tent. Our Check-out was fast and we even bought a cute Hoodie as a souvenir to always remember our beautiful stay.
