Cheeca Lodge is my absolute favorite place in The Keys The property is gorgeous, I love the amenities, the complimentary kayaking, bikes & champagne for Mother’s Day was such a nice touch The rooms are so cozy, just love it there. Ask for Rob at the pool bar, he makes a great drink!

My wife and I had an amazing experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our room with the screened patio, we had our coffee there every morning overlooking the tennis courts. There’s so many things to do that are included, I don’t think we’ve ever stayed at a resort that had so many amenities included at no charge. We will definitely visit again on our next trip to the Keys.

Loved the stay with two 6 year old boys. There was so much to do on the property we had planned to do more exploring of the keys but found the boys loved being on the dock fishing, on the water kayaking, riding bikes and swimming in the warm pool.

Great stay, absolutely lovely amenities, so much included, food was fantastic. Expedia and the hotel separately charged resort fees and at check out we did have to pay an additional 65 dollars per day on that. Did love the pool, loved the view. Great for kids and families. Wait staff at the pool was very limited- would be great to have QR code ordering by the pool- would increase their revenue I would think.

All 3 pools were excellent. The sandy beach looking over the Atlantic Ocean was amazing and relaxing at the same time. The ladies went to the spa the men played the par 3 course, which is included in the resort fee.

Cheeca lodge was a wonderful stay! All the staff were so kind and always ready to help out. The sun didn't shine for 2 days but with all of the ammenities of Tennis, golf and kayaks we always had something to do. The food was delicious at the resturant and they cooked our fish from our fishing excursion. There were always lounge chairs available, and the beach is nice. I would highly recommend!

Pros: Beautiful location, great amenities of things to do. Food was tasty but pricey. (About $100 for two per meal) appetizer, drinks and entrees. Staff neutral not super friendly or grumpy just doing a job. Cons: room smelled musty (think it was a/c) shower control nozzle broken very hard to adjust to get hot . Stayed in a casita overlooking swimming pool. Had a rooster right outside back patio path crowing loudly at wee hours of the morning. Got no sleep. Talked to staff about rooster and the response was that others have complained and they don’t do anything about it. Overall: Expected more for $550/night May be worth a shot if staying in the non casita newer part of complex. Definitely beware if anywhere near pool unless you love seeing chickens with eggs and being awakened at the crack of dawn :) stayed in Feb 2026
