“A Magical Rainforest Escape – Highly Recommended! We absolutely loved our stay at Ataraxia eco lodge! The property is run by a very nice couple who make you feel incredibly welcome from the moment you arrive. It is beautifully located right in the rainforest, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in nature. During our stay, we loved watching monkeys playing, spotting sloths, and seeing a variety of beautiful tropical birds right from the property. The food was another major highlight. The...

“We loved it! Allan was really helpful and nice! The place is really clean and you feel at home all the time. They also offered lots of extras that we loved. Breakfast is freshly made every morning. We also loved the company of Buster, Lev and Max, best dogs ever! We 100% recommend it.”

“La casa es bastante amplia, la terraza muy grande, solo que le hace falta mantenimiento, las cortinas estaban manchadas y no cubrían en su totalidad, los colchones y las almohadas no fueron nada cómodos, en lo personal no descansamos ningún día por ese gran detalle. Pero cuidado con las expectativas:...

“Un lugar en medio de la naturaleza donde te permite ver fauna en su medio ambiente. Hermoso y la atención formidable mi hija y yo quedamos encantadas.”

“It was a great experience, room clean and a great location!! Staff super helpful would love to come back”

“My stay at the Lodge at Punta Rica was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing vacations I have ever had. Nestled on a hilltop on Bastimentos Island and overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the lodge was a peaceful haven of tranquility, beauty, and relaxation—exactly what I needed after a hectic and stressful season of life. The hotel staff met me at the airport and transported me by boat to Bastimentos Island, a short 20-minute ride from Bocas del Toro Isla Colón. Brian and Dan, the owners of the...
