This resort was definitely worth the money! Food was fantastic, the drinks were perfect, and the property was absolutely what you want for relaxing getaway. We have stayed on the island at times, but this was the first time at this resort, we did not feel like we had to leave this resort because everything we wanted was provided.

Initially we booked another hotel in Islas Mujeras, only to find out a week before our trip that it closed down for renovations. That hotel re-booked us at another hotel that was subpar (rude staff, small, crowded). After a long day of back and forth with Expedia, we were finally rebooked at Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort. From the second we walked into the open-air lobby to the second we left on a private ferry back to Cancun we were impressed. The staff went above and beyond to welcome us. Every one of the staff were friendly and treated us well. The room was beautiful, The pool was immaculate. The food was delicious. They offer several local tours which I highly recommend participating in. If you are looking for a quiet getaway and to be treated like royalty, this is the place!

Loved riding over on the boat! Beautiful resort and great rooms. Service was wonderful in restaurants, honestly wasn’t impressed with gal in coffee shop. She seemed put out when getting your coffee and nobody was ever in there. Very very quiet… no beach walking unfortunately. Food was outstanding in my opinion.
