The start off the show here is staff they treat amazing, the beach is amazing calm water so great for the kiddos and only a short 3 minute walk if that.

We recently stayed for 7 days to celebrate our 25th anniversary. From start to finish our stay was amazing. The service was top notch each day, especially from Javi on the beach and Ramiro at the bar and restaurant! Everyone was kind and helpful. We plan to be back for sure!

We love this place so much this was our second time staying here. We have never done that before. Everything is great, location, service, rooms, environment, food is good especially the ceviche. Hopefully going back for Christmas!

The room was satisfactory. Most staff were helpful and amazing. The breakfast was great. Would not recommend upgrading to a food package as there are amazing restaurants here. The beach is a short walk and is awesome. I found this hotel expensive for what was offered but the location was great.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and just a short walk from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. The entire property was clean and well-maintained, including the pool area, which was a great place to relax. The amenities and food were excellent, and everything contributed to an stress-free and enjoyable vacation. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Holbox!

Holbox is paradise, and the front desk staff and beach service were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the pools are poorly maintained, with broken tiles that caused my 11-year-old daughter to cut her foot so badly she couldn’t swim for the rest of our trip. We also had disappointing service at the rooftop restaurant and towel station, where an employee tried to charge us for blood-stained towels caused by the pool injury. Proper pool maintenance could have prevented this incident and made our stay much more enjoyable.

We picked this place because it looked cute with a boho vibe, and it totally delivered. The atmosphere was cozy and thoughtfully designed, and the staff was genuinely great — friendly, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. It made the whole stay feel easy and comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent. 10-15 minute walk to downtown plaza, with many dining/bar choices in between. The beach was probably the best in the area with attentive wait staff to serve beverages while relaxing. The mini store next door was perfect for snacks and beverages. The hotel dining staff was excellent as well as the daily morning breakfast buffet. The hotel front desk staff was the complete opposite. They missed the mark on their warmth and hospitality, and not as welcoming, which was a disappointment. But they sure explained the rules if you lost a towel from the hotel room. They also failed to mention the rooftop bar and Japanese restaurant was closed for remodeling. The room we stayed in was very basic and plain. Only a couple of power outlets, hairdryer, small fridge (have to pay $$ for beverages if you take one) and room safe. Sorry, no coffee maker! However, we opted for the swim-out, which made up for everything else not so good. It was a great way to unwind after a day on the beach and the humidity. Staff cleaned and added chemicals daily to the swim-out pool. We booked an evening excursion through the hotel, but canceled after waiting over 30 minutes with no communication from hotel staff, other than telling us they were on their way. The hotel grounds was beautifully maintained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and due to the location and cost, we will consider staying there again.
