My fiancé and I recently took a short trip to Royal Isabela to experience the property before celebrating our wedding there next April. During our visit, we had the opportunity to meet with the staff and enjoy a full tour of the grounds. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel incredibly welcome. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed. We also enjoyed several meals during our stay—the food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We left with no complaints and even more excitement for our wedding day. We can't wait to celebrate such a special occasion in such a stunning place and are looking forward to returning next April!

If you are looking for tranquility this is the place for you. The views are breathtaking and what postcards and painting are based off of. The property is meticulously maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We did have a few miscommunications but they always made sure to correct it. The food is what you would expect at a five star resort and they delivered every time. The rooms/casitas are very private with your own plunge pools It’s set on a 2000 acre reserve. The food is locally sourced and the vegetables are grown on the grounds. Make sure you reserve a spot for yoga on the 17th hole which overlooks the ocean, weather permitting! We did sunrise yoga. We also took advantage of the in room massages which were done so professionally! Well worth it! The food is made to order so plan on a bit of a wait. But I can assure you it’s well worth it. The portions are generous! Take the walk to the secluded beach that only accessible to the resort. You can’t swim there but it’s stunning and a bit of a hike. Well worth it! The resort is gated so you do feel secure and they pick you up with a golf cart to bring you to your casita. Great service especially at night. It’s dark! Even with the remodeling work on several casitas it was hardly noticeable. If you love golf this course looks amazing! Unfortunately we don’t play. You can’t go wrong with this resort. It’s a can’t miss and we were so happy to find it!

This was an amazing stay for myself and my daughter. Gorgeous property, delicious food using ingredients grown on their own farm. But the highlight was truly the activities…from hiking, to secluded beaches, to paddle boarding, to surf lessons, and e-biking…this was one of the funnest and most active vacations I’ve ever had. Royal Isabela is just beautiful. The property, buildings, amenities and views are outstanding. The casitas are spacious and very comfortable. Staff go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay great. Plan on doing most of your dining at the restaurant and golf grill on site since the resort is kind of out of way. Don’t worry, this isn’t a problem because the food is excellent. We loved our stay and hope to visit again!
