This is a great hotel right next to Kinnick Stadium and the University of Iowa Hospitals. The entire staff were so friendly. I stayed during a snow storm so I could be close to the hospital where they were transferring my mom. The lobby bar/restaurant has great food and drink selections.

Hotel staff were very friendly. Restaurant staff during the day were abrupt and also rude. The hotel was over run by a youth basketball group. They were loud, running up and down the hallways, and very inconsiderate of other guests. The noise volume from the lobby area carried to our room until well passed midnight both nights. Staff said they were unable to do anything about the noise.

The hotel had a clean modern feel to it. It was close proximity to the University of Iowa campus / hospital. The room was clean and very nice. Ample space and amenities. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There was a restaurant on site as well as a Starbucks bistro. The food and service at the restaurant were very good as well.
