“We are gutted to write this review as we stayed here previously and had a lovely stay but sadly the hotel has gone downhill, and I think that’s putting it politely. On the surface it looks great, but there were to many issues to say we’d ever think about returning. Firstly the leisure facilities, one of the main reasons we booked here, looks good but when you’re in the water is murky and doesn’t feel clean. “Reception staff very nice and helpful, nothing to much bother . Room was well equipped regarding wardrobes and drawers . Nice and cosy . Unfortunately we were in a ground floor room and window did open but didn’t stay in position, improvised with the use of tying a scarf . Beds were comfortable, alas we usually strip beds in the morning on vacating room, , mattress cover badly stained , and next layer too , reluctant to go beyond this.
