The location was great. Can stay here and then rent kayaks for Tomales Bay from the rental spot next door. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen not well equipped in terms of pans of different sizes. Living room and kitchen are large.

The resort was very nice, and the restaurant was very good, selling local oysters. The place is also very quiet. We had almost no interactions with staff and the check-in was through an envelope left for us at the closed office. The pool was closed and there is no hot tub. The place is very remote but great for exploring Point Reyes.

Not a “Five Star Resort” but earned 5 stars from me. Counter staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were basic but very clean and cozy. Great views, pool was nice. Didn’t try the restaurant onsite but locals recommended it. Just beware, if you’re staying during the week, almost all local restaurants close by 8pm, so factor that into your day plans. Great easy access to Point Reyes Park

This is an old motel but kept in excellent shape. The maintenance/carpentry is excellent. First time that I've seen crown molding in a bathroom. The bed is comfortable and my wife loved the pattern on the comforter. The location is beautiful, right on the bay, and there are nice benches all around to soak it in. There are no restaurants within a reasonable distance that are open before 10 AM but you can get pastries and coffee within a few miles. We would stay there again.

It’s family‑ and pet‑friendly, close to markets and restaurants, and only about 30 minutes from Point Reyes Lighthouse. Just note that many places nearby close early. A great stay.
