Highly recommend this hotel. The location is fantastic next to the train station and centrally located to shops and restaurants. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful! High tea was a travellers delight! Fun to stay in such a historic building!

The team were helpful and friendly on arrival and throughout our stay. The restaurant team made sure we were well looked after, especially as I had a specific dietary requirement, this was not an issue and it was very well catered for. Thanks to everyone who made sure we received true Scottish hospitality during our stay. Good size room with tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom was a good size with shampoo and shower gel.

The room was most spacious with two comfortable double bed. The ceilings are high and the decoration is tasteful. The bathroom was equipped with a very long bath. The main stairs are quite lively and give access to all the services. The continental breakfast is generous. It is well located. Parking spots on location are very scarce. However, the staff was able to locate a parking lot close by.

This hotel was conveniently located near the center of town and everything you may wish to see in Inverness is just a few minute walk. There is minimal parking at the hotel, but the multi level city park is an easy 6 minute walk, even with roller bags. We would recommend staying there and if we come back, it will be our location of choice.

We had a great stay although staff didn’t seem very friendly. While waiting for our room we went into the bar area. Bartender disappeared and people were waiting. When we finally got our drink the waitress made sure we did not sit at any of her tables. Next day we had an early tour and only had time to grab some items from the continental breakfast. We asked if we could have a to go cup for coffee and were told no. Beds were comfortable and room was nice. Very convenient to the train station.

Lovely lobby and grand staircase right next door to train station. Our room looked out onto platform 2. Hotel is a gracious older dame. Spacious. Comfortable but showing signs of age. Worked well for us as we enjoy heritage properties. Particularly when the train station entrance is immediately beside the hotel door and public transport stops.

The housekeeping staff were very nice. But the rest of the experience was not good. The hotel is run down and not maintained. It smells badly and the afternoon staff at the bell desk are not nice to anyone. I would not recommend.

Close to train station, parking out front if you are lucky to get a spot. If unable to get a parking spot out front, I parked around the corner and it was only a short walk. Large room allowed for plenty of storage for luggage, it was nice and warm for our 2 night stay. Staff were helpful at reception regarding directions and nearby amenities. Laundry was 4 minutes away so easy to do. Hotel is close to Victorian markets and walkable to the loch. Overall enjoyed my stay here
