Needed a place to stay the night during a quick trip through Inverness. This place was very conveniently located. They were quite accommodating with allowing baggage storage outside of checkin and checkouts times. The furniture and linens were a bit old and while not entirely comfortable were adequate.

Overall, a good room for one night in a very central location. It was very clean and tidy, apart from one area. The blinds were very dusty when I went to close them. Not a big deal to myself, but other guests might be unhappy with this.

Looks awful from the outside but ok inside. It’s just a room with a bed and shower room. There was hand wash and towels. They looked quite grubby but they were clean. No kettle. The internet and TV didn’t work. Electric shower kept going hot then cold Wish I had booked the Travelodge a few doors down for just a few pounds more

No staff, self check-in which was easy. Clean room, no frills, great price for the location. Mostly younger guests who were a bit noisy ( Saturday night) but settled down by midnight. This was a very nice guest house stay in an easy location, parking a few blocks away in a multilevel car park. Maybe have some cups in the room, even paper cups would be a good addition . I would stay here again.

Great spot conveniently located. Clean and comfortable…Management was unreachable so I was unable to change my room which I had for two weeks. I ended up burning incense to deal with the mildew odor in the bathroom.

Was informed the night before arriving that I’d be not in the main building advertised but in a portable shed-like building in the back alley. Couldnt book elsewhere because the cancellation deadline had already passed after they sent photos of the alley way room I was in with the check in instructions the day before I was due to check in. It turned out okay, but the photos and info about the rooms on the site was misleading. Also the shower leaked, there was mold/mildew on the bathroom wall and dirty smudges and spills on the floors and walls. I stayed 4 nights and nobody came to clean the room in that time or offer fresh towel, etc. Disappointing place except for location.

One night stop over

Stayed here for one night with friends while travelling home to Lanarkshire from Durness. Arrived about 9pm and left at 5am. Perfect for this. Great location , easily get on and off the A9. Had a good sleep. Shower was ideal. Ticked all the boxes. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again .

Very bare bones accommodation. There was no toiletries provided. Area was quiet and room was plenty big for multiple people to stay together. Disappointed with 10am check out time. Lots of good dining options around

Room was clean, small and compact. ok for a short stay. Room provided was not in main building but out the back in in a self contained unit. Kettle provided but no tea or coffee, TV in room but no terrestrial TV only via the apps.

We didn't stay in this property, since they gave us a room with a double bed and we booked a room for three people. They don't have a front desk, so there wasn't a way to call a representative to fix the problem. Not even an Expedia representative could contact the property, so we expect to have a full refund for this reservation.

This is an extraordinary operation. No desk, no staff, no amenities, just a nice clean room with comfortable beds and a clean, functioning bathroom. Luxury it is not, but very comfortable, especially for us who do nothing but sleep and wash in our rooms. The location is superb, close to station, good restaurants, shops, etc., and the price is very reasonable. We would certainly stay there again and recommend to friends who are not looking for luxury.

This room was not in a hotel. It was in a shed in the alley behind the hotel building. Although it was very close to the train station, not suitable for wheeled or heavy luggage. There was only a fitted sheet pillows and comforter, no WiFi. Instructions, no attendant and no instructions for operating heater. Would only recommend for traveling light and very self sufficient. No one responded to text or phone message to request help with heat. Thin wall. I heard neighbor snore, cough and pass gas.

Very basic, matching the price. Small issues could easily be fixed; the rooms are down an alleyway that was occasionally hidden by a painted gate with a door in it, and this was not made clear in the instructions. Secondly, the heater in the room was programmed to make the tiny room far too hot when it was on & I couldn’t figure how to lower its goal temp. Otherwise a very functional and basic place to sleep and shower.

Bed was comfortable. Bath and face towels for all guests. Smart tv was a bonus with free wifi. Could do with hand towel holder and toilet roll holder in toilet / shower room. Only 1 socket which I could see available. Flexible checkout would also be good (currently at 10am) would be great if you could extend time until 12pm for late checkout. Self check in and out was great. Next door room to us was noisy (shouting n swearing in the night and morning) so a sign to respect other guest would also be good. Some information abouts what’s around would also be good. But overall was a nice stay and would stay here again and also recommend.
